YPPeople is a leading HR and manpower outsourcing agency with a strong presence in Kenya, Cape Verde, and Mozambique, delivering tailored solutions for telcos, construction, utilities, and retail, supported by a dynamic, multicultural team.
• Yellow Pages Kenya is a Yellow Pages book publisher and digital agency with a presence in Angola, Kenya, Cape Verde, Tanzania, Sao Tome e Principe, and Mozambique. As they continue to expand their digital and publishing presence, they are seeking a Marketing Assistant Manager to drive marketing initiatives and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute a mix of digital and traditional marketing strategies (SEO, social media, content creation, campaign management)
• Drive social media engagement and manage analytics to optimize campaigns
• Collaborate on product development and new service launches
• Manage partnerships and coordinate with external vendors and agencies
• Organize and support PR activities, including expos and industry events
• Maintain and utilize CRM tools for campaign tracking and client engagement
• Work closely with marketing peers across multiple African countries
• Prepare marketing reports and present insights to the leadership team

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role (general marketing experience is sufficient)
• Strong skills in social media engagement and analytics
• Experience using CRM tools for marketing campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a multicultural team
• Creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven
