Role Overview
The Integrated Traffic Officer is responsible for leading the team that manages the scheduling, coordination, and broadcast of commercial content across television, radio, and digital platforms. This role ensures seamless traffic operations by overseeing commercial placement, resolving scheduling conflicts, and maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all broadcast logs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of broadcast operations, excellent communication and leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced media environment.

Their key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise a team of Traffic Coordinators responsible for commercial scheduling across TV, radio, and digital platforms.
- Develop, implement, and enforce effective traffic management policies, workflows, and procedures.
- Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day scheduling of commercial content to ensure timely and accurate placement.
- Monitor all scheduled commercials to ensure they run within their allocated timeframes.
- Conduct data analysis and provide performance reports on scheduling accuracy, delivery rates, and overall traffic efficiency.
- Collaborate with Programming, Commercial, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of traffic schedules into broadcast workflows.
- Identify and resolve traffic-related issues, including scheduling conflicts, missing materials, or client discrepancies.
- Train, mentor, and support Traffic Coordinators to improve skill levels, performance, and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as sales teams, producers, and programmers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and industry regulations.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors in traffic operations.
- Participate in the development of departmental goals, KPIs, and budget planning.
- Monitor team performance and report on key metrics, including log accuracy, on-time delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in broadcast traffic operations, broadcast scheduling, or related media workflow roles.
- Strong understanding of broadcasting systems, traffic scheduling software, and commercial workflows across TV, radio, and digital platforms.
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and effective while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and traffic system tools.
