OSH Committee & Training Programs Consultant / Trainer Job IRES

Position Summary:

We are seeking an OSH Committee & Training Programs Consultant / Trainer to strengthen the capacity, effectiveness, and compliance of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committees through structured training and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train OSH Committee members on statutory roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
• Facilitate formation, operationalization, and performance improvement of OSH committees.
• Support development and implementation of OSH policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide advisory services on inspections, hazard management, and incident reporting.
• Deliver refresher and specialized OSH capacity-building programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree (minimum) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or related discipline.
• Certification in OSH practice or committee training.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and OSH regulatory frameworks.
• At least 7 years’ experience working with OSH committees or safety governance structures.
