Position Summary:
The Junior Developer will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The role involves writing clean code, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the team in building scalable, high-quality solutions. We are looking for a motivated individual with a solid foundation in modern web technologies, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate closely with senior developers. This position offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, exposure to best practices, and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable code to implement features and fix bugs.
- Support senior developers in the design, testing, and maintenance of applications.
- Learn and apply best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Participate actively in team discussions, stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Document code clearly and provide regular progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ICTM, BBIT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in IT or software development.
- Proficient in PHP and JavaScript programming Languages.
- Hands-on experience with Laravel and Vue.js frameworks.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration practices.
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Skilled in Git & GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines for automation and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL databases and database management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and creative approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Growth mindset, eager to learn, and adaptable to new development technologies.
- Desirable Experience working with WordPress or Drupal CMS.
