Job Purpose

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization’s computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and manage network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and WLANs.
• Configure and manage VLANs to segment network traffic and improve security
• Work closely with other IT team members to support and improve overall IT infrastructure.
• Network management, access control and administration
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention and other security infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configuration
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Generate reports on network performance and security incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Certification in CCNA certification, N+ or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with a deep understanding of network protocols, network security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with firewall configuration and management.
• Proven experience with VLAN configuration and management.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches.
• Syspro knowledge will be a definite advantage
