Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd plays a key role in marketing of its member’s milk which is processed and packed in form of pouch packed fresh milk, Tetra Classic fresh milk, lala, butter, ghee and cream under the flagship of “Fresha Dairy Products”.

Job Purpose

To ensure all products received in the depot meet customer’s requirement and quality status is maintained throughout the distribution channel and also the depot complies with both statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting quality status of all products and delivery trucks on arrival.
• Inspecting distributors’ storage/distribution facilities.
• Training distributors/customers on best product handling practices.
• Conducting regular quality audits in the market.
• Verifying market returns and issuing Goods Return Notes (GRN).
• Compiling daily/weekly /monthly market returns report.
• Ensure compliance to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements in line with Environment, Health
• and Safety standards for both depot facility and staffs

Qualifications

• BSC Food science and Technology/ Dairy Science and Technology or related field.
• Higher National Diploma in Food Science & Technology or related field.
• 3 years working experience
• Ability to work in a team
• Customer care oriented
• Able to work under pressure
• Flexible, ability to work in any part of the country
