• We provide safe, sustainable sanitation services to residents living in urban informal settlements of Nairobi and Kisumu using end-to-end non-sewered sanitation solutions. Watch here!

Using technologies developed in-house, we upcycle the waste into insect-based protein for animal feed, organic fertilizer, and biomass fuel. • We partner with cities to develop and deliver safe sanitation and waste management for urban residents. Using a systematic methodology, we match cities’ sanitation and waste management needs with technology and service delivery models, and then offer clear guidance on the steps that governments, funders, service providers, and technology developers can take to develop and implement integrated service delivery systems.

Operational since 2011, Sanergy serves over 140,000 urban residents with safe sanitation services every day. Sanergy collects and treats over 12,000T of waste per year, and successfully sells its agricultural end-products to farmers in over 20 counties in Kenya, who see improved yields and increased incomes. At the same time, we have built a team of over 400 employees from diverse backgrounds who solve diverse problems, but all embody the drive, creativity, teamwork, and passion that make us achieve our goals. About the role:

Sanergy is seeking to hire a Campus recruitment representative fellow who will serve as a liaison between Sanergy and Faculty & students on the respective university/college campus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be a voice for Sanergy to ensure students and alumni are well informed on exciting opportunities..
• Connect Sanergy with academic achievers for fellowship or graduate programs.
• Act as a key contact between Sanergy and the university leadership or and various campus stakeholders.
• Communicate new ideas on-campus graduate trainee recruitment.
• Attend school events for the sole purpose of networking and sharing job opportunities at Sanergy eg: Career Fair.
• Help build trust and brand awareness amongst peers and university stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

• An ongoing student at a recognized university or college.
• A great communicator with a never-give-up attitude.
• Great at building networks within peer groups and leadership as well (Make sure they know who you are).
• A brilliant mindset with an innovative approach to assessing and testing new ideas.
• Ability to lead yourself and others to create an impact.
• An enthusiasm to achieve set targets.
• Ability to think on their feet and respond to complex information and comfortably network with a wide variety of stakeholders.
