We’re seeking a talented Architect with expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices to contribute to our dynamic projects. As an integral part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to blend creativity with safety measures, ensuring that our designs not only inspire but also prioritize the well-being of people and the planet.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to EHS guidelines and regulations.
• Design Expertise: Provide creative and innovative design solutions that align with client needs, project goals, and industry standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, including architects, designers, and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in design and project deliverables.
• Designing sustainable and aesthetically pleasing structures that adhere to EHS regulations and incorporating green building principles to minimize environmental impact.
• Integrate sustainable and environmentally friendly principles into architectural designs.
• Conduct thorough EHS assessments and implement appropriate measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to EHS in architecture.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registered Architect with BORAQS and AAK or Registered Engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in a busy Architectural firm.
• Green Architectural certification will be an added advantage.
• Software and communication skills: proficiency in industry-standard design softwares and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in architectural design with a strong focus on EHS considerations. Should have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the Environmental & Social and Health & Safety field with a minimum of 5 years of field experience. Should be a registered EIA Lead Expert with NEMA and registered with Environmental Institute of Kenya.
