{"id":779943,"date":"2024-03-27T08:25:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-27T05:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.careerpointkenya.co.ke\/?p=779943"},"modified":"2024-03-27T08:19:11","modified_gmt":"2024-03-27T05:19:11","slug":"kdc-assistant-manager-business-development-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.careerpointkenya.co.ke\/2024\/03\/27\/kdc-assistant-manager-business-development-job\/","title":{"rendered":"KDC Assistant Manager, Business Development Job"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>JOB GRADE KDC 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Assistant Manager, Business Development will be responsible for coordination, implementation and reviewing of the KDC\u2019s Business development strategy geared towards<br>achieving KDC\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#06699c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Duties and responsibilities<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Identifying potential business and investment opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring competitors\u2019 offerings to understand each target markets, identify gaps or opportunities and liaison with innovation team develop appropriate products and solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-developing the next generation products or services or solutions for the identified new business opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading the introduction and rollout of new products \/ solutions to existing and new clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing and communicating a unique value proposition to identified clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initiating the identification of market niches based on KDC\u2019s competitive advantage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formulating corporate brand identity and brand manual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#06699c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Person Specification<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in relevant field from recognized Institution;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in any of the following fields: Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience four (4) of which should have been at the level of supervisory level;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management Course will be added advantage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of a relevant professional body in good standing where applicable;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in computer applications; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#06699c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">How To Apply<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested and qualified persons to apply online through the KDC website <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#06699c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">www.kdc.go.ke <\/mark><\/strong>under the careers section.
