Qualifications for the Production Planning and Logistic Supervisor Job

• Machines/SFD performance
• Assist in performing ship-out arrangements in accordance to the customs regulations.
• To ensure the provision & availability of an updated database.
• Preparation of relevant documents related to Production & Shipping
• Data collection from SP papers
• Attending L2 Security Product meeting every Thursday
• Attending L3 Security meeting every day
• Cost
• To Monitor and ensure timely planning, processing and delivery for all despatches for both in bound & out bound couriers
• Provision of an updated database for all shipped/received goods, and ensuring maintenance of high efficiency levels for the same
• Ensuring that the work in progress (WIP) is done on weekly basis
• To ensure that the quotation received from procurement department is verified and signed off by Logistics
• Supervisor and Security Manager
• Delivery
• Daily follow up with clearing & forwarding agents/couriers with relations to all imports and exports
• Taking the liaison role by responding to internal and external requests for information within the stipulated boundaries
• To plan & organize customs verification for all Imports & Exports & physically check all cleared consignments (imports) while ensuring their movement to the end users or storage sites
• Ensuring that the shipping list is done on weekly basis
• Holding meetings with the clearing agents
• Dealing with air imports/export shipments
• To Monitor and ensure timely planning and delivery for all air export shipments apart from charter movements
• To ensure that Customs report is done on monthly basis
• Inter-departmental co-ordination should be maintained to ensure all production & shipping related matters affecting all departments are catered for
• Liaising with Air line, Shipping, Courier agents and relevant in house departments.
• Inputting & distributing production & shipping data.
• To Monitor and ensure timely planning, processing and delivery for all despatches for both in bound & out bound couriers
• Ensuring the availability of required production materials
• To assist in performing ship-out arrangement in accordance to customs regulations
• To co-ordinate with customers, suppliers, clearing & forwarding agents with relations to all imports and exports.
• To be responsible for outgoing courier packages and Direct inbound packages to the respective departments
• To plan & organize customs verification for all Imports & Exports & Physically check all cleared consignments (imports)
• Signing off the shipping invoice for Standard Chartered Bank Uganda
• Signing off hard copy airway bills for Diamond Trust Tanzania , Equity Rwanda, Equity Sudan, I & M Tanzania, I & M Rwanda, Orbit Bank, Kenya Commercial Bank Sudan, Kenya Commercial Bank Rwanda, Barclays Bank Zambia & Stanbic Tanzania Banks

Qualifications for the Production Planning and Logistic Supervisor Job

• Minimum of 3 Years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Logistics Training & Knowledge
• Computer Literacy
