Our client is a well-known company in multinational FMCG Company in Kenya dealing with consumable goods.

Responsibilities for the Brand Manager Job

  • Brand Management, planning & optimization by continually improving the competitive strength of the category or brand(s)
  • Manage resources and investments to achieve sustainable business goals and ensure all brand actives operate within the set budgets
  • Undertaking market insight to understand the customers preference and serve them better by identifying solutions and making recommendations to improve effectiveness
  • Help Brand Development better understand local consumer and marketplace, to help them develop better strategies and mixes for the brand(s).
  • Develop the brand marketing plans, to achieve sustainable business goals through integrated business planning.
  • Achieve set short term targets while continuously building the long term health of the brand(s).
  • Flawlessly execute perfect launches (by ensuring consistency with Brand Key Vision and Brand Vision Plan including communication strategy and follow up to establish the innovation/renovation successfully in the marketplace by engaging and inspiring people to buy, bringing both magic and logic through innovation and renovation.
  • Build good agency network to assist in all brand activities both above the line and below the line activities
  • Execute exceptional brand experiences across touch points, to drive brand preference and advocacy through integrated brand communications.
  • Drive the profitable growth of a brand both for the company and the partners: accountable for the analysis of
  • brand performance and brand health by ROI of key activities.
  • Ensure that key deliverable are attained on any given brand project.

Key Competencies

  • Track record of achievement in brand creation/innovation and renovation
  • Management of a team and coordination both internally and externally
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership characteristics
  • Ability to train and give guidance

Qualifications for the Brand Manager Job

  • Masters/ Bachelor degree in relevant field i.e. sales and marketing, brand management, strategic management.
  • Over 5 years expereince in managerial/supervisory level as brand manager or supervisor
  • Expereince in FMCG will be an added advantage
