Housekeeping Assistant Job at the Ministry of Transport

Basic Slary Scale: Kshs . 16,692 – Ksh. 21,304 . – Job Group ‘G’

Qualifications for the Housekeeping Assistant Job

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a mean grade of C-(Minus); and
• Attended a course lasting not less than one (1) year and awarded a Certificate in
• Housekeeping and Laundry or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities for the Housekeeping Assistant Job

• Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms;
• Care and maintenance of furniture, equipment and linen;
• Reporting of defects in the guests rooms to the supervisor;
• Ensuring proper work procedures are followed when handling guest laundry; and
• Filling in the occurrence book as required.
