Responsibilities for the Medical Engineer Technologist Job

• Under supervision of a more senior officer, the officer will be responsible
  for:
• Equipment fault diagnosis and basic repair and maintenance; and
• Appreciating the principle of operation of the standard equipment in most health institutions.

Requirements for the Medical Engineer Technologist Job

• Be a citizen of Kenya;
• Have an ordinary Diploma Certificate in Medical Engineering from a recognized institution; or
• Have successfully completed an Ordinary Diploma course in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution and also be ready to undertake a one year work experience in Medical Engineering or Health Technology related field.
