Our Client, a leading company in software solutions from Sweden is looking to recruit a Senior IT Technician for their office based in Nairobi. The ideal candidate must have very good technical skills.

Responsibilities for the Senior IT Technician Job

• Participate and lead IT projects
• Educate junior technicians
• Upgrade existing systems and introduce new systems
• Continuously develop and improve the IT infrastructure
• Automation, Disaster recovery, firewalls, certificates
• Implementation, Monitoring and maintenance of IT Security.
• Maintain all hardware and software.
• Give periodical reports on tasks completed.

Qualifications for the Senior IT Technician Job

• Must have a Degree in Information Technology or relevant field.
• Must have above 5 years’ experience in an ICT environment
• Very good technical skills in Microsoft server platforms, Active Directory, PowerShell and Group Policy
• Excellent experience in Network Technologies, WAN, VLAN, WLAN, LAN
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server and SQL code.
• Good experience developing and understanding storage, virtualization and backup
