The Planning Officer will report to the Senior Planning Officer

Planning Officer Job Responsibilities

  • Collection and analysis of data relating to the overall strategy of the Agency;
  • Implementation and appraisal of activities, projects and programmes;
  • Participating in development, review and implementation of the strategic plan of the Agency.
  • Evaluation and monitoring of development projects and programmes;
  • Conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility studies and setting project priorities;
  • Formulation of economic and statistical development activities;
  • Collation and presentation of statistical data in the form of survey reports and bulletins.

Qualifications for the Planning Officer Job

  • Have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Economics, Development Planning;
  • Have Development Studies or any other relevant, related and equivalent qualifications;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the current best corporate planning and monitoring practices;
  • Have relevant Computer applications skill;
  • Demonstrate communication and leadership skills;
  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
