Qualifications for the Counsellor Job

• A Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from an accredited university.
• Five (5) years of practice as a counselor with at least three (3) years’ experience working with young adults in an educational institution
• Be mature and at least thirty five (35) years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to work well in a team
• Show evidence of ongoing counsellor supervision.
• Show evidence as a counselor trainer.
• Membership of a relevant professional association
• Be Computer Literate.

How To Apply
For teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow, employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms. Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract, to the maximum of three (3) years. For the other positions, Terms of Service include a two (2) year renewable performance – based contract and gratuity that will be paid at the end of the contract period, a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance.
