The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu has also expanded its services to Kisii, Kakamega, Kitale, Bungoma, Kericho. Busia and Homa Bay Counties.

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Manager-Human Resources the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of the whole spectrum of talent development, performance management, and human resource customer: are management to Outreach Health Centers to support quality health care.

Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Generally contribute to the formulation and implementation of Human resource policies and procedures
  • Coordinate the review/formulation and Implementation of Talent development policy and plans
  • Undertake Talent development Needs Analysis
  • Coordinate Performance Measurement and review
  • Participate In the Implementation of HRIS
  • Deliver Executive Administration services and management reports
  • Coordinate Human resources Surveys
  • Participate In management of Work place conflicts
  • Provide general HR relationship services to the Outreach Health Centers
  • Support effective processing and management of payroll.

Requirements for the Assistant Manager Job

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management. Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management /Organizational Development or Diploma in Industrial Relations.
  • Master s Degree in the relevant field an added advantage.
  • Over six years relevant work experience three (3) of which should be in middle management.
  • Member of a recognized HR professional body.
  • Strategic leadership and management skills.
  • Complex problem solving and judgement and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • HR metrics and analytics skills.
