Technician Job at Kaimosi Friends University College

Kaimosi Friends University College (KAFUCO) is a Constituent College of Masinde Muliro University of Science Technology (MMUST) and invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the following teaching positions.

Requirements for the Technician Job

• Diploma in relevant field with 3 years working experience as Technician Scale 5 or its equivalent.
• Certificate in relevant area with 6 years working experience 3 of which as Technician Scale 5 or its equivalent.
• Member of a professional body.
• ICT Competent.

Duties for the Technician Job

• To assist in conducting practicals in relevant disciplines.
• Prepare general set up for a science laboratory
• Prepare a procurement plan for laboratory items, chemicals and other accessories.
• Prepare a schedule for laboratory practical sessions.
• Formulate rules and regulations governing operations and safety in the laboratory
• Keep an up to date inventory of all laboratory items.
• Guide students during the laboratory sessions.
• To ensure that the area of jurisdiction is secure and clean.
• Any other duties as assigned by the CoD
