A leading restaurant and cafe specializing in pizzas, pastas and salads is currently seeking to fill the positions of experienced Waiters, Accounts Clerk, Social Media Marketing Executive, Baristas, Cooks, Assistant Delivery Manager and Riders.

Assistant Delivery Manager Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the delivery function for all restaurant branches in coordination with the Delivery manager
• Forecast delivery volumes to plan team size and staffing schedules for restaurants
• Ensure timely delivery by effective scheduling and optimizing delivery routes
• Ensure proper handling of food during the delivery process to maintain high hygiene standards
• Develop best practices in delivery services such as maintaining customer database.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles and bikes used in the delivery function
• Monitor progress of riders and the drivers.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement of delivery bikes and the company van.
• Bike and Van fueling.
• Prepare the delivery department schedule
• Organize cleaning of delivery bikes
• Keep tabs on Mileage

Qualifications for the Assistant Delivery Manager Job

• Experience in food delivery within NAIROBI
• Must be able to ride and have a valid driver’s license
• Must have some technical knowhow in dealing with motorbikes including ability to undertake minor repairs
• Must be well versed with NAIROBI and its environs
• Ability to lead and manage a group of staff
• Customer service experience
