Schneider Electric Kenya seeks a highly qualified Training Centre Coordinator to run/support the Training Centre and to provide training services for clients and employees.

The role will include responsibility for ensuring that there is adequate and suitable training materials & schedules.

Training Centre Coordinator Job Responsibilities

• Promote the Training Centre to consultants, contractors, customers, Engineers and employees;
• Prepare and execute training programs; Receive and coordinate booking of courses by customers
• Create re-usable Marketing content to excel promotions; Use Social Media weekly to promote upcoming courses.
• Prepare Training Courses content as directed for use by Training Participants;
• Prepare training course offers and prepare invoices (in consultation with Finance)
• Arrangements for reception of participants together with refreshments and/or meals as necessary
• Maintain records of all participants, organizations and certificates

Qualifications for the Training Centre Coordinator Job

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in the electrical engineering field
• Be a registered as a Graduate Engineer or member of EBK (Engineers Board of Kenya).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Computer aided electrical design tools
• Knowledge of LV Electrical Distribution Equipment
• Knowledge of LV Electrical Distribution Equipment
• Exposure to Schneider Electric Switchgear would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to PLC programming
• Basic Finance knowledge including offering and invoicing
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Contribute decision making at management level
• Experience in Power System at MV/LV (Medium Voltage/Low Voltage).
• Exposure to utility level power system design, distribution & transmission
• Exposure to protection and control Schemes design, grading, implementation and testing
• Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) qualification & certification will be an added advantage.
