Our client, a well-established construction and security company is looking to recruit a Canvas Tailor. The ideal candidate MUST have above 2 years canvas tailoring experience in the textile industry and proficiency using a sewing machine.

Canvas Tailor Job Responsibilities

• Fabric selection.
• Proper positioning of posts or attachment points to create the appropriate sheeting angle.
• Calculating hollow on free flying edges.
• Cut and label the patterns.
• Basting panels and sewing panels.
• Creating hems on edges, hollow and corner patches.
• Installing rings at corners with webbing.

Qualifications for the Canvas Tailor Job

• Must have a Certificate/Diploma in Tailoring and Upholstery.
• Must have above 2 years’ canvas tailoring experience in the textile industry.
• Must be proficiency in using a sewing machine.
• Must be self motivated.
