Sales Representatives Job at Brites Management
Reporting to: General Trade Manager
Job Location: Nairobi
Salary Range: 25-30K plus Commissions
Our client in FMCG seeks to recruit Tuk Tuk/Motorcycle Sales Reps. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Sales function in an efficient and effective manner servicing a defined customer list within a geographic sales territory.
The tuk tuk sales representatives will manage the profitability of these customers, and the products that are distributed within this territory.
Sales Representatives Job Accountabilities
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Gathering market and customer information
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Checking the quantities of goods on display and in stock
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Feeding future buying trends back to employers
- Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
Qualifications for the Sales Representatives Job
- Diploma/ Certificate in sales and marketing or equivalent
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills both in English and Swahili
- 3 years’ experience in van sales/ Tuk Tuk sales or Motor cycle sales
- FMCG sales experience is a requirement
- Motor cycle driver’s license
