We are currently recruiting in Kenya for our client a Multinational Telecom company,

To enable sales people to effectively develop the business by assisting them in administrative and similar duties. Assist sales people to create, build and maintain profitable and strategic relationships with customers through delivering excellent service to customers; to ensure customer satisfaction, recognise opportunities and maximise sales.

Sales Admin/ Junior Account Manager Job Responsibilities

Operational Performance:

  • Upholding strict and effective Quality Management and Occupational Health and Safety measures within the business ensuring that staff meets the requirements of relevant legislation
  • Ensure that if there are internal or external escalations that the escalations happen as quick as possible and with all relevant information.

Growth and Profitability:

  • Ensure that all tasks performed re done within required time, accurate and as soon as possible.
  • Identify where cost savings can be implemented

Qualifications for the Sales Admin/ Junior Account Manager Job

  • Proven track record in sales within the ICT sector.
  • Solid understanding of sales metrics and methodologies.
  • Extensive IT knowledge with specific exposure in large accounts where solutions selling was done.
  • Well-developed transformational leadership skills.
  • Highly developed people management skills.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organising skills.
  • Actively identify and pursue potential business in the business areas defined by Line of Business in identified existing accounts as well as potential new accounts.
  • Define, develop and manage relationships with key individuals in all accounts as above and ensure that the relationships with these contacts are maintained at all levels
  • Ensure that sales and margin targets set for the junior account manager are achieved on both an individual and team basis.
  • Develop and implement account strategies that deliver on the objectives
  • Customer focus.
  • Up to 5 x years administration experience.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with difficult customer in high stress situations.
  • Ability to understand and follow process.
  • Professional in appearance & manner with appropriate business etiquette w.r.t. email and telephonic communication.
  • Working knowledge or emails, scheduling / calendar management.
