Our client, a manufacturer and distributor of iron sheets is keen at recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to create and maintain appropriate levels of operational focus, integrity and control strategies within the region.

Operations Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of financial and operations functions
  • Working with the management team to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices
  • Prepare and control operational budgets and inventory, and recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company
  • Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
  • Develop policies and procedures to improve on the implementation of all HR related activities
  • Creating, communicating and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction
  • Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other Managers according to the reporting structure
  • Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business
  • Overseeing the complete operation of the company in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans
  • Evaluating the success of the company in reaching its goals, making sure that each strategic goal is measurable
  • Maintaining awareness of both the external and the internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards
  • Ensuring the company complies with all statutory and tax obligations
  • Demonstrating the leadership necessary to make the company’s mission a success
  • Facilitate the coordination and communication between support functions
