Jacque Maribe is a household name in the media industry. She has risen from the timid young girl who who went to State House Girls High School and later The University of Nairobi to pursue journalism Journalism to a young woman who has inspired many that there is still success in the media industry.
A well respected journalist and popular media personality, Jacque Maribe was at the top of her career.
She started out as an actress in the Constant Gardener back in 2005 and later on joined K24 TV in 2009 as a Senior Political Reporter until December 2011.
After leaving K24, she immediately joined KISS TV of Radio Africa Group where she worked as a Political Affairs Reporter until October 2012 when she joined the Royal Media Group as a Political Affairs Reporter on Citizen TV a career move that saw her join part of the 9pm news team and began hosting prime time news.
However, this past week, she has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, leading to her employer sending her on compulsory paid leave, until she handles her legal issues.
A career that took her years to build has come crushing down in a matter of days in the name of passion and love.
