Curriculum Manager Job. Africa Consulting

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Curriculum Director in researching national standards and exams, creating teacher guides, quizzes, tests and midterm/end term exams.
• Co-manage the team of curriculum writers/authors who will support you in producing the curriculum.
• Supporting the hiring process of new staff in the department.
• Supervising, writing new content for textbooks, objective-driven lessons, and creating aligned and rigorous assessments for the pupils.
• Combing through our current textbooks and lessons to identify key areas that align to the regional and local curriculum.
• Supervise the development of all curriculum in English, math, science, social studies and/or other specific subjects.
• Such other duties as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the level of responsibility of this job role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education/linguistics, communication or related field.
• More than (4) years of experience in the education or academic sector.
• Prior experience researching national standards and exams, creating teacher guides, quizzes, tests and midterm/end term exams will be preferred.
• Ability to write and speak fluent English
• Exceptional organization and project management skills
• Strong people management skills
