Responsibilities

The product manager is responsible for:

  • Building the product and offering corporate guide solutions within the region.
  • Locating and specifying the preparation of the product in accordance with local requirements.
  • Defining the pricing strategy for sales and bids.
  • Interacting with people across multiple disciplines including engineering, marketing, operations, industrial design and program management with great exposure to senior management.
  • Coordinating a group of analogous activities and a few different activities, when a broad knowledge of problems and activities of other sectors is required.
  • Solving analytical and evaluation of problems, with elements of development and creative conception (in general, administrative problems are frequent).
  • The position usually requires facing new challenges and developing methods and techniques.
  • Responsible for making decisions and recommendations on matters affecting activities and performance of the section and other sections.
  • Acts and / or makes suggestions within the framework of rules, procedures and general practices.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) process and Localization for new products and solutions within the region to fit the local requirements and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Pre sales, RFP & RFQ– to cooperate in the sales process to the BDMs and KAMs to close the deals.
  • Collaborate in the project deployment with training, installing, POCs etc.–to solve the road blocks on the project implementation
  • Product feedback after delivery– to collect feedback and uses it for next projects on the same account/country.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Marketing, Administration or Industrial Engineering.
  • Atleast 3 years Experience in IT and Consumer Electronics companies, products and markets are desirable.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with virtual teams.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Self-starter with a solid sense of ownership and accountability for tasks.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • English (required /Chinese (desirable)/Portuguese (nice to have).
