Internal Valuer Job. PACIS Insurance

PACIS Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in Kenya in October 2004 and is an initiative of the Catholic Church, with a vision to be the icon of reliability and trustworthiness.

In order to serve our growing client base, the company wishes to recruit an experienced, dynamic and innovative Internal Valuers.

Overall Responsibility

This position is responsible for conducting property valuations, preparing valuation reports and reviewing existing valuations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Property valuations
  • Carry out valuations for property and ensure completion as per the workplan.
  • Prepare property valuation reports and submit them to underwriting for action
  • Maintain a ‘soft’ database of all valuations for quick access to underwriting department
  • Reviewing valuation reports that have been prepared as may be required.
  • Dealing with customer complaints relating to valuations
  • Liaise with internal valuer and ensure release of updated list of all the valuations done.
  • Advising the Underwriting Manager on any new trends in property valuation.
  • Any other duties as may be allocated by the management.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor`s degree in any of the following disciplines: Valuation, Property Management, Land Administration, Land Economics or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Certificate of Insurance Proficiency will be an added advantage

Competencies

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Have good report writing skills and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal / customer handling skills
  • Have the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders- customers, and internal customers (staff)
