Qualifications

  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Actuarial Science, Economics, Commerce, Insurance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or relevant qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;

Responsibilities 

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Verifying retirement documents;
  • Capturing pensioners data into the pensions management information system (PMIS)
  • Scrutinizing and processing of pension claims;
  • Checking of pensions and gratuity awards;
  • General correspondence on pensions and gratuity matters; and
  • Offering customer care services and responding to public inquiries.
