Digital Marketing Lead Job in Nairobi

Our client is established business in the market. They seek to hire a Digital Marketing Officer Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer/Executive Director the role holder will oversee and be accountable for the digital strategy, digital business, digital learning and collaboration as well as digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketing campaign strategies and activity plans for online products through digital channels
  • Monitor overhead and capital expenses to ensure achievement of cost efficiency
  • Prepare digital marketing budget and measure ROI and KPIs of digital marketing initiatives
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and google analytics
  • Contribute to overall profitability of Mayfair Insurance by monitoring all areas of expenditure and reporting on performance against variations for all digital projects
  • Work with the Business Development and Marketing team to ensure that products taken to market meet sponsor and end consumer requirements.
  • Partner with Business Development and Marketing team to identify themes and trends, ensuring consistency of voice and visual identity
  • Work closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to devise, develop and deliver appropriate technologies to optimize the business practices.
  • Ensure that any new digital innovations comply with various industry standards including Information Security, Data protection.
  • Contribute to improvements on project management processes and systems
  • Encourage Knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities within the Marketing team and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in project reviews, approvals
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of digital marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
  • Manage agency campaign implementation and performance against agreed campaign targets
  • Manage campaign activity with the digital marketing team including website and mobile app updates, email marketing and social media activity to deliver campaign objectives
  • Effectively manage generated leads from all areas of the campaign activity
  • Apply lessons learnt from the pre and post campaign analysis to continuously improve lead generation for the business.
  • Contributing to the provision of high quality digital support services
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to create and optimize online portals
  • Keep abreast of current trends in digital marketing and related legislation and regulations
  • Managing financial and other resources and risks effectively as per the digital strategy

 Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree
  • A recognized professional qualification in project management and/or digital marketing
  • Minimum 3 – 4 Years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools ( eg google analytics)
  • Knowledge in project management standards and discipline
  • Excellent Organizational and planning skills with an ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to use minimum resources to get maximum outputs
  • Data collection, data utilization, data validation
