(a) Duties and responsibilities

i. Receiving and connecting calls;

ii. Routine testing of exchange lines and switchboard facilities; and

iii. Maintaining telephone records.

(b) Requirements for Appointment.

For appointment to the grade of Telephone Operator II, a candidate must: –

i. Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean Grade D+, (plus) or its Equivalent with at least D+ in English and Kiswahili; and

ii. Be proficient in computer applications.
