CLINICAL OFFICER, JOB GROUP KMR 8 – (4 POSITIONS – CIPDCR – BUSIA, CCR – NAIROBI, CGHR – KISUMU, CGMR(C) – KILIFI)

 This is the entry and training grade in this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Officer.

Responsibilities

  • The duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-
  • Take history from patients Carry out clinical services and procedures;
  • Document all aspects of patient care and maintain accurate and complete medical records;
  • Collect, prepare and store research samples and specimen;
  • Filling case report forms;
  • Data Collection and involvement in field activities;

Qualifications

  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine;
  • Registration Certificate from the Clinical Officers’ Council;
  • Membership to a relevant professional body;
  • Proficiency in computer application skills; and
