Key Purpose Statement 

The Prime Mover Driver is responsible for safely moving stock between CCBA manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and customers on time and in full. This role reports to the Distribution Team leader.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

• Hauling of bulk stock (Primary Distribution) between Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres / Local Distribution Partners and OCCDs
• Delivery of stock (Secondary Distribution) to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD’s
• Providing professional and efficient customer service to the Internal and external customers
• Conducting and Compiling necessary invoicing to ensure that all delivery documents are correct and checked.
• Taking full accountability for the allocated truck, mobile device, stock, and pallets on the truck
• Co-coordinating and receiving customer Invoices.
• Performing daily stock counts accurately and promptly.
• Complying with security checks and procedures
• Management and supervision of the crew on the truck

Skills, Experience & Education    

• Form 4 certificate (KCSE)
• Valid and applicable driver’s license Special type – ART
• Valid Professional Drivers Permit (Country Specific)
• Prepared to work fixed shifts at a specific time of day/days of the week

Experience:

• Prior distribution driving experience
