Job Summary:
Our client is a Start-up in the ISP space and they are looking to hire a Project Manager who will ensure successful management and execution of all assigned projects. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-time, and within-budget projects that align with our company’s objectives and contribute to our continued growth in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and allocate resources required for project execution.
- Lead project teams, ensuring they work cohesively towards project goals.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and take proactive measures to keep projects on track.
- Identify and address potential risks and issues that may affect project success.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams, including developers, engineers, and other departments.
- Provide regular project updates to department heads.
- Foster collaboration and a positive working environment among project team members.
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project demands.
- Supervise project team members, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Promote skill development and growth among team members.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize project finances.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare post-project reports and conduct project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Any other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager in the ISP industry is essential.
- Knowledge of ISP network infrastructure and technologies.
- A strong project management skill with certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to ISPs in Kenya.
