About the role

The Market Research Project Coordinator specializing in Time and cost Optimization for Electric and biomass projects is a pivotal role within our organization. This individual will lead in defining project scopes, developing detailed plans, and ensuring seamless coordination with cross-functional teams. They will be instrumental in evaluating and optimizing project budgets while maintaining high-quality standards and will also serve as the custodian of research outputs and documents, ensuring their secure storage and controlled access.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, demonstrates proficiency in market research, project coordination, and cost optimization, and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate within MR teams to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed, in collaboration with project leads/officers
  • Provide regular project updates, ensuring all parties are informed of progress and key milestones.

Cost Optimization:

  • Evaluate project budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction or optimization.
  • Together with HOD and project leads, develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and project integrity.
  • Monitor expenses and track cost-saving initiatives to ensure targets are met.

Custodian of Research Outputs and Documents:

  • Establish and maintain a systematic storage and retrieval system for all research documents, ensuring easy access for relevant stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive research materials, adhering to data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Organize and maintain a comprehensive database of research findings, reports, and related documentation.
  • Facilitate controlled access to research outputs, ensuring that authorized team members can retrieve information efficiently.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in market research, project coordination, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
