Job Specifications

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will be to assist in:

  • Preparing journals/vouchers and payments;
  • Responding to queries from contracted professionals;
  • Maintaining voucher movement registers;
  • Verifying and batching invoices and payment vouchers;
  • Reconciling vendor statements;
  • Maintaining project files, records;
  • Delivering and collecting instructions to and from the bank.
  • Preparing bank and fee reconciliation

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Certified Public Accountant CPA (K) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA);
  • Member of ICPAK;
  • Demonstrated merit in work performance;
  • Proficiency in computer application;
  • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution for successful applicants.
