Information Systems Auditor Job, Current IT Jobs In Kenya,

Duties and Responsibilities:

While reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor;

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting IT Audits in the University
  • Assist other Auditors in the extraction of and analysis of data using data analytics tools and CAATS
  • In collaboration with other Auditors, Conduct operational, financial, and investigative IT Audits as assigned by relevant authorities
  • Assist in the development of Annual work plans for the University
  • Conduct ad-hoc/ special investigations and reviews as requested by management
  • Mentor and train other Audit staff on the use of computer-assisted Audit techniques
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited and recognized university
  • Certified information systems Auditor and a member of ISACA or a certified internal Auditor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
  • At least Three (3) years of relevant work experience in information systems Audit
  • CPA (K) or its equivalent will be an added Advantage.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

A competitive remuneration package which includes a basic salary, generous house allowance, and medical cover will be provided.
