Finance Intern Job, Current Internships In Kenya,

  • PATH is seeking 2 Finance Interns to support the Finance Team under the USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto Project. These Interns will be based in Homabay and Kisumu respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Make copies/scans of all finance documents and file them in sequence
  • Check the accuracy of the receipts and vouchers presented to back-up expenses for completeness of the support documents.
  • Check validity of expenses and receipts presented for payment concerning reasonability, allowability, and allocability basis.
  • Ensure that all invoices received from vendors are processed in an orderly manner and duly supported by proper documentation.
  • Assist in tracking expenses and accuracy for services rendered on the account and ensure they are within agreed limits

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Fresh/recent graduates (at most 2 years post-graduation exposure)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office applications especially Word and Excel.
  • Drive to be a self-starter.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya
