Job Summary:

Optimise Outsourcing Ltd is looking for an outgoing and dynamic Inventory Data Analyst.  As an Inventory Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and managing inventory data to ensure efficient and optimal inventory levels. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact inventory purchasing, stocking strategies, and overall operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels within the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze inventory data using statistical and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop models and algorithms to forecast demand, optimize stocking levels, and minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including SKU rationalization, reorder points, and safety stock calculations.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate inventory performance metrics, inventory turnover, and other relevant KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management processes, recommend system enhancements, and implement best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential inventory risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency of inventory data by conducting audits and implementing data quality measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other statistical software.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP systems) and their functionalities.
  • Experience in forecasting techniques and inventory optimization methods.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in inventory analysis or supply chain analytics is preferred.
