• The Planning, Finance & Economy Section (PFES) is responsible for supporting urban and territorial planning at all scales including through the development of planning policy, norms and guidelines, urban design and public space design, urban finance (municipal finance and urban development/projects finance), and local economic development.
• Reporting and Communication The Driver will be hired to collaborate closely with the Planning for Humanitarian-Development Practices workstream of PFES. He/she will report to the team leads to deliver the EUTF program. Duties and Responsibilities Under the overall supervision of the team lead, the individual contractor will be responsible for the following duties: Report and deliver on driving functions, to support field activity implementation across the EUTF program, including logistical support for inter-city travel of team members to attend high-level meetings and on-site field visits.

Qualifications/special skills

• Academic Qualification: A high school diploma is required.
• Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience in driving services, and field coordination is required. Experience working in Kakuma, Kenya is desirable.

Languages

• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this advertised position fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Swahili is required.
