Debt Recovery Officer Job Home Ventures

Salary: Kshs 25k,

Home Ventures ltd, a target-based organization is seeking to hire a Debt Recovery Officer who will be tasked with the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze a list of tenants in arrears monthly based on the number of missed rent.
• Communicate to tenants in arrears informing them of amount in arrears. Follow up through phone call and SMS’s.
• Working with the tenants on an agreed payment plan, send reminders before the agreed due dates.
• Achieve 95% target on monthly basis of the portfolio given 
• Answer queries and offer advice to the members.
• Manage a team allocated and the portfolio given.
• Attend to field visits as directed.
• Refer cases for restructure to the supervisor.
• Prepare daily & monthly reports: Collections received, all follow-ups done, Commitment dates agreed on.
• Any other duty as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in credit management, or its equivalent qualification.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role 
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Proficiency in computerized accounting system
