KAGRC Communications & Branding Officer Job

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:-

  • Developing and overseeing implementation communication and branding
  • strategy and policy;
  • Managing corporate events;
  • Developing information, education and communication materials;
  • Promoting a positive corporate image of the Centre;
  • Managing public relations;
  • Providing media liaison services; and
  • Developing and overseeing implementation corporate social responsibility programs.

Job Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

  • Have a Bachelors Degree in Communications or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Have Professional qualification and membership where applicable;
  • Demonstrated results in work performance; and
  • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

  • Communication skills;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Report writing skills; and
  • Integrity.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide the following documents during the interview:

  • Curriculum vitae;
  • Identity card;
  • Original Academic certificates and other testimonials;
  • Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) recognition/equation certificate for degrees, diplomas and certificates awarded by foreign universities and institutions.

 Successful candidates will be required to provide the following documents:

  • Certificate of good conduct;
  • EACC clearance;
  • HELB clearance;
  • KRA compliance certificate; and
  • Clearance from a reputable credit referencing bureau.
