Our Client in a tours and travel company seeks to recruit a tour consultant to work in their company

Salary-50,000Ksh Negotiable

Job Description

The ideal candidate has the ability to prepare tour packages for both local and international. Has great product knowledge of tour packages

Responsibilities

• Researching various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.
• Diagnosing the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggesting suitable travel packages or services.
• Organizing travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation, etc.
• Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs, etc.)
• Collecting deposits and balances.
• Using promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
• Preparing competitive itineraries, ground packages and Hotel bookings
• Preparing tour packages for different destinations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of tourism
• Must have gone to Kenya Utalii college
• Has over 5-6 years’ experience in the tours and travel industry
