Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities: – 

  • In charge of the stores;
  • Receiving and issuing stores;
  • Following up with suppliers on all pending deliveries;
  • Advising on pending orders in the store for replenishment;
  • Filing and maintaining store records;
  • Generating Goods Received Notes (GRN);
  • Sorting, dispatching, and filing invoices and other documents;
  • Capturing and processing stores data;
  • Complying with the Procurement Act;
  • Preparing requisitions for stocks replenishment; and
  • Monitoring the movement of stores.

Persons Specification 

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

  • Four (4) years work relevant work experience as a Supply Chain Management Assistant
  • Diploma in purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) Final or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in Computer applications skills;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Compliance with chapter six of the Constitution.
