Kingdom Bank Limited Relationship Officer- Bancassurance Job

Reports to: Principal Officer, Bancassurance

Location: Head Office

The Relationship Officer for Bancassurance will be a key driver for the development and execution of sales and marketing programs along the retail segment in line with the Bancassurance strategy.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Spearhead marketing drives for insurance products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Maintain and actively mine from the database of customers.
  • Ensure client documentation is complete to ensure strict adherence to set guidelines.
  • After-Sales Service such as post-sale evaluation, timely submission of policy documents and other insurance covers to clients etc.
  • Ensure premium is collected from policyholders as per the laid down procedures on all business underwritten and placed.
  • Prepare and maintain on an ongoing basis, daily sales report, and monthly performance reports to present to the Principal Officer, Bancassurance.
  • Ensure timely renewal of existing business under his/her portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with the Kingdom Bank sector-based Relationship Managers, Relationship Officers to optimize insurance business.
  • Cross-sell insurance solutions to bank borrowers and bank services {Accounts, FDR, etc.} to insurance customers.
  • Collection of market intelligence information local competition, products and levels of service to inform decision making.
  • To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the organization goals and objective such as regular attendance of training sessions as well as training of branch staff with regards to their specific sector
  • Act as the branch contact for non-funded sales and driver of the retail life specialist model.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with both external and internal regulatory requirements and the approved Policy and Procedures Manuals.
  • Assist in identifying risks facing the business and recommend remedial actions that can be undertaken to mitigate the risks.
  • Provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably business-related field
  • Certificate Of Proficiency in insurance at minimum or good advancement in ACII or AIIK
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in insurance
  • Experience in insurance sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
