Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Handle periodic management reports
  • Management of accounts payables
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Assist in preparation of final accounts
  • Check and assist on compliance with company policies in relation to financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

Skills and Personal attribute

  • Reporting Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Able to handle tight deadlines
  • Data Entry and information storage
  • Analytical skills
  • Kenyan Dynamic Tax Laws
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted

Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software’s
  • MS Office Knowledge
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Experience in Bookkeeping

Academic and professional experience

  • Minimum three (2) years’ experience in a busy accounting environment
  • CPA 2 and above Certification
