Interior Perspective Ltd under the brand name Interior Perspective Studio is an architectural and design studio in Nairobi, Kenya that provides end-to-end services from design, planning, implementation, furnishing and decorating of residential, commercial, retail and hospitality spaces. The company is driven by a deep passion to articulate client’s unique stories with intuitive and timeless places. It seeks to fill the position of an Interior Draughtsman/ woman. The position will report to the Senior Designer.

Job Purpose

A Draughtsman/woman works supports in a wide range of tasks which include creating floor plans and providing detailed working drawings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys, define project requirements during the ‘Brief’.
• Interpret and translate client needs into rough plans (space layouts).
• Consider materials and costs according to project budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies for projects.
• Prepare client presentations.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, designs and plans.
• Conduct on-site supervision of design elements and provide recommendations or consultation to help streamline ongoing projects.
• Prioritize and plan project tasks to meet deadlines.
• Keep up-to date with new design trends, technical design solutions and suppliers in the design industry.
• Identify new business and sell services to potential clients.
• Write minutes at client meetings.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Proven working experience in designing Interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions).
• Proficient in ArchiCAD / AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Sketchup, 3DMax/Revit, Illustrator/Photoshop is an added advantage.
