Mambo Italia Junior Procurement Officer Job

Reports to: Head of Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Must ensure that we have all the needed supplies at the required time.
• Confirm that goods received are of the required quality and quantity
• Adhere to, monitor par, and re-order stock levels as approved by the management
• Ensure that stocks are within their levels – Min and Max
• Organize stock deliveries by and from the several suppliers
• Monitor vendors for quality, service, and price through standard purchasing specifications as provided by the management
• Obtain competitive quotations for restaurant requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
• Ensure that all authorized or approved purchase orders are sent to their respective suppliers/vendors timely for delivery purposes
• Ensure proper communication with the departments with regard to inventory levels
• Ensure & verify that quotations are regularly updated and supplier’s new and current price lists are maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have worked in a hotel or restaurant set up at least for 1 year +
• Must have a degree or diploma in procurement
• Must be sharp and smart with the ability to provide solutions in real-time
• Ability to work with general procurement systems and software
