Moringa School Senior Product Manager Job

Why We Are Hiring For This Role

  • This role will be responsible for building on our strategy to partner with expert content providers. Moringa is expanding our product portfolio for both B2C and B2B customers. This is an exciting new role created for someone who can drive end to end Product Management to enable Moringa to scale to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Product to shape the product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with a team of Learning Designers, Subjects matter experts, curriculum partners, trainers, and tech engineers to design, test and launch new products into the market.
  • Manage and own ongoing both qualitative and quantitative customer research.
  • Review and gather customer insight on most of the important opportunities for new courses and learning experiences within African tech environments.
  • Be the champion of the students for your products by articulating their user needs.
  • Test hypothesis and conduct rapid experimentation with new product models and develop strategically aligned solutions.
  • Project manage end to end delivery of new products in conjunction with other departments such as marketing & admissions, classroom etc
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of products using key success metrics.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years product experience of which 3 must be working in a product management capacity, specifically for customer-facing products.
  • Strong knowledge of product management processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing products that meet and exceed business expectations.
  • Learning mindset: a thirst for learning new information, knowledge and honing your craft.
  • Metrics-focused: Define metrics for success and failure; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and make decisions.
  • Will live and breathe Moringa’s mission and vision. Will communicate what Moringa does with a passion to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing Product priorities.
  • Preferable: East and Southern Africa Experience.

Desired

  • Ed tech product experience, Coding Bootcamp Experience, HE School, or long form learning experience.
  • Blended learning design experience.
  • Partnership Management – Content and learning design.
  • B2B product experience.
