Basic salary Scale: Kshs 32,700 – 42,690 pm. Job Group ‘J’ Allowances as per the SRC circulars attached to the position

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

For appointment to this position a candidate must have;

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution;
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili; and
  • Be proficient in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Information gathering on topical issues within the departments/Boards
  • Verifying authenticity of the gathered information iii. Editing and dispatching the information for dissemination to the public under the guidance of a senior officer.
